I've been building scale models for as long as I can remember. I'm 68 years old and am still building them. As long as I'm interested in model building, I stay off t he streets and don't get involved in gangs. They think modelers are sissy boys. Well, got news for them, or maybe not. Anyway, I build from metal, wood and plastic. Cars, trucks, boats, ships, planes, blimps, buildings, you name it! Now a days, I mainly build models during the winter and/or bad weather. Model building has always been a way for me to relax. Plus I like miniatures. I've built train layouts, dioramas, and all sorts of things. I've even built several old west towns and I'm talking towns with 30+ buildings each. I've also built huge doll houses. I bet the gang members would have a field day with that. My doll houses are in excess of 15 to 25 rooms. We're talking mansions.
